Hi,

When using the ASDM its possible to simulate a traffic flow and it shows you all the rules it hits.

Is this also possible in the FMC WebGUI ?

Yes this is possible. Go to the following path:

Devices > Device Management and click the Troubleshoot icon next to the device you want to do the packet-tracer on. On the page that comes up click Advanced Troubleshooting. Here you can do the Packet-tracer, packet capture, etc.

Troubleshoot icon looks like this:

Yes, in FMC, go to the Device Management, select troubleshoot on the device you want to check the rules on. Go to Advanced Troubleshooting. You can run packet tracer from there.

FYI- if anyone has upgraded to 7.0.1, you instead have to click the 3 dots next to edit icon on that page to access troubleshooting. This too me way too long to find.
