ASA5525 with Firepower Module: High swap usage at normal memory usage

Hello everybody,

our customer has a ASA5525 with Firepower Module running OS rel. 6.6.4.

Our monitoring generated a warning because the swap usage reached 90%.

The Health Monitor of the module in the FMC has still no red bubble yet.

When I login to the module I get the following relevant command outputs:

How can it be that the swap usage is at 90% when the memory usage is at approx. 67% and
can I reduce the swap space usage anyhow?

Not much to find in the WWW regarding this topic.
