Hallo, i have a cisco switch WS-C2960S-24TS-L and its now EoL, and i want to update this Switch, which it is now in

production enviremont.

Is there any problem or bugs, if i update this switch?

Update the switch - In Terms of IOS Upgrade or changing to new Model

Upgrading to IOS yes its possible, as long as the pre-caution taken care,

You need to Write down, what is the current IOS, what is the target version you like to upgrade ?

IOS Upgrade required downtime mean, switch required to reload after upgrade, ( so consider 15-20min downtime)

Anyone can update the firmware of the switch.
The biggest challenge, however, is trying to find the IOS files for a product that has gone past end-of-life date because Cisco routinely deletes all public-facing links (including firmware files).

If the switch is end of life you should still be able to download the IOS software for it as long as you have an active service contract. It is when it goes end of support that software upgrades will no longer be available.
