hi,

i'll be migrating power source to a new vertical PDU.

do i just remove the power cable on the ASA 5525-x or issue a 'reload' for a 'graceful' shutdown then remove power cable.

just want to ensure config will remain intact when power off/on the ASA.

By the way there is no command to power off the ASA. Just make sure the config has been saved then power off with the on/off switch.

LiteBlue

If there's a Firepower service module active then it is best to shut it down gracefully if you have the chance.

The ASA software itself is fine to just recover from hard power off as long as the running-configuration was saved.
