Sync Standby ASA to Primary

I'm currently running tests on my standby unit and once done would like to sync the test config to my Primary ASA.

Is there a simple way to make this happen?

By design, configuration will never sync from a standby unit to active. The only possible way is manually push the changes.

This can however be achieved via different methods, E.g.,

1. Copy show run from standby to a text editor and then manually paste it to active.

2. Copy running or startup to flash on the standby. TFTP or FTP the file out. Move the same file onto active unit and copy it to the running config.

As Krishna mentioned, syncing from Standby to Active is not possible from CLI, its not secure i believe.

Your active one is the one where you make all the changes as its the working horse at that time, so changes made will be pushed from Active to Standby always. Or you follow what Krishna mentioned .

There is no way migrate the config file from one box to another like we can do in Switches. It is manual process like he menitoned
