Hello all,

I have a problem. When i call the FMC via https Iget a popup window for entering the login infomation. Here I can enter waht i want and nathing happens.

With our other FCM no popoup window opens but the normal web page where you can enter your user infomation. Here, the login also works normally

Does anyone know what could be the reason why I get this popup window on the one chassis?

Via ssh I can not connect here always comes password although Ihave entered it correctly, Nut with the console I can still connect.

Thanks for your help

You might have some other device with a duplicate address that is also used by FCM and are getting its login prompt. I'd confirm the management interface's MAC address from the local gateway's arp table.

I can rule this out. I see the FCM website behind the pop-up. When I click on Cancel in the pop-up, FCM also tells me that I am not authorised.

Since you're using TACACS, have you checked the troubleshooting steps in this document:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/firepower-9000-series/212714-firepower-extensible-operating-system-f.html

Also, have you tried cli login with local admin user?

I don't see the problem with the Tacas server here. This has worked all the time. I alone find the pop-up window via https strange.

If indeed you are hitting that bug, then you would need to open a TAC case to confirm and obtain a work around.
