ASDM unable to load the firewall configuration tab

Hello All,

I have an issue on loading the configuration tab of an ASA5545-K9, the ASDM gets stuck parsing ASA config (77%)
-ASA Version: 9.12(4)7
-ASDM Version: 7.8(2)

Is this something related to the JAVA or ASA/ASDM version compatibility?
Please advise how to resolve this issue

It likely is a ASDM and ASA mismatch

update ASDM to 7.12 or any higher upto 7.16 and test it.

Realize I cannot upgrade it because we have it set to HA and don't want to risk downtime in case something happens.

You can not upgrade ASDM or ASA code ?

upgrading ASDM not require any downtime, its just a management tool.

via CLI, yes. I know it is no downtime in a perfect world. But there's still some risks. Haha.

Sure if you are more cautious do it in a maintenance window. ( agreed)
