Hi All,

I have restored the FMC and FTD from backup. After that the FMC cant see the FTD HA. When i look at the FTD cli it says the failover is off... I connected only the HA cables for now.. Do i need to connect all the data cables for the HA to work?

Its a brand new devices, so i enabled 90 day evaluation license from FMC. But am not sure if this has been pushed to FTD as the communication between FMC and FTD is not working. How do i check in FTD cli if its got license or not?

You are evaluating but already restoring from backup?

When restoring an FTD HA pair from backup, certain specific steps must be followed: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/secure-firewall/management-center/admin/720/management-center-admin-72/tools-backup.html#Cisco_Task.dita_a44c742a-9670-4b54-b792-6ba3a3133133

If you don't follow that procedure exactly you can end up with an inoperable HA pair such as you seem to have currently.
