I have an Firepower 1010 bought with FPR1010-ASA-K9 product name, i need IPS functionality on this device.

Can I reimage the firepower to change ASA image to FTD image and buy the FPR1010T-SBE-L license to have the IPS funct

The SBE-L contains additional features than just IPS, at a minimum you need the Threat/IPS license L-FPR1010T-T-1Y/3Y or 5Y - https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/global/en_sg/solutions/small-business/pdfs/cisco-firepower-1000-series-brochure.pdf

Also, if you purchased Smartnet support on the device, the contract should be modified to reflect the correct part number.

Thanks @Marvin Rhoads, we need to buy the smartet of the product in a different order of the hardware, so im not sure if there is any difference between these two smartnet parts.

CON-SNT-FPR1010A and CON-SNT-FPR1010N. Which one select?
