Those licenses are for the Firepower Management Center (FMC), not sure how many devices you managing or planning in the near future but below are the the SKUs

SF-VMW-2-SW-K9 (2 Devices)

Firepower Management Console

Hello,

I am trying to find out the appropriate licensing to enable our Firepower FWs to access the management console for our Firepower Management Console. We were told by Cisco that we would need the following licenses:

The Classic license that you need, probably are the next:

FS-VMW-SW-K9 – Cisco Firepower Management Center, (VMWare)

FS-VMW-LIC-K9 – Cisco FireSIGHT Management Center Virtual License.

I was wondering if the above licenses meant that each box would need a license to be installed on it and the corresponding license is to be installed on the FMC. Would my understanding be correct?

Thanks in advance.

~sK

What about the other SKU: FS-VMW-LIC-K9 – Cisco FireSIGHT Management Center Virtual License. is this required as well?

When you purchase any of the SKUs already mentioned by @Ruben Cocheno , you receive a license entitlement in your Smart account. There is no need to purchase a separate license SKU.

I don't know who at Cisco provided that second SKU, but it does not show up in my search of the ordering system.
