so now we are removing the FMC from production and want to manage the FTD devices locally. so is there any impact if the firewall is removed from the FMC and managed by ASDM?

An Firepower appliance with ASA image is not at all managed with FMC. FMC only manage FTD image devices or ASA appliances with Firepower service module (not available for Firepower appliances).

Are you referring to FirePOWER services? if so, yes you can manage them with ASDM:

Use ASDM to Manage a FirePOWER Module on an ASA - Cisco

Before removing a managed Firepower service module from FMC, you should note the policy that is applied to it. That policy would have to be recreated in ASDM and then reapplied if you wish to continue to have the module's NGFW protection features.
