When you say the PC and firewall are on the same LAN, I assume you mean that the firewall interface your PC is connected to is configured with an IP on that LAN?

Another assumption I am making is that the Firewall is running ASA and not FTD software, correct?

Have you checked that the command http <subnet IP> <interface name> is configured for the interface that you have the PC connected to (where subnet IP is the LAN subnet and interface name is the name of the interface the PC is connected to, i.e. inside / outside)?

Is the ASDM image uploaded to the ASA and referenced in the command asdm image disk0:blahblahblah.bin?

All,

Production firewall works fine! The Cisco ASMD-IDM Launcher v1.9 works fine in production. Standalone Firewall is a mirror of production. Trying to bringing up the same Cisco ASMD-IDM Launcher v1.9 that works but now offline to tranfser files to my standaIone offline Cisco-1120 fpr. Physically my computer's ethernet cabled to ethernet e1/2 on the fpr-1120. Yes they're in the same LAN. Ethernet is full deplexed 1G. Both are off the internet. Default gateway is up/up on firewall. Any thoughts

Using Mobaxterm via ssh. That's working!
This same workstation if I add the workstation back to the network by just removing my e1/2 port in step 1 back to the walljack I'm back online. So the ASDM app works fine! however it's when I go back offline.
Yes, the firewall is running the ASA software and not using FTD software.
Yes, http server enabled, http *.*.*.* /24 <interface name> or it's the same exact name of the interface the first few lines of show run
Yes, asdm image disk0:/asdm-openjre-7150-150.bin

ASDM-IDM launcher version 1.9(0) JAVA jre version 1.8.0_202 OPENJDK 64-bit Server VM
Message "contacting device Please wait"

THis firewall supposed to be a replica of production. It's offline FW

Unable to launch device manager from spare Cisco FPR-1120.

Conversely, it appears there is a dependency for 443. If I was to allow 443 out client to local FW curious if that fix that. Couldn't reach x.x.x.1/admin/public/index.html website to optionally install asdm launcher & Java web start. Had to move my cable back to activated/walljack

For offline uploading images. Please Use Mobaxterm or something comparable! Mobaxterm has an built-in TFTP server by going to servers you can easily tweak and upload the image even offline meaning Local client>Cisco asset.
