I just read the release notes and found this entry. Sounds like we need to upgrade our current FTD's in order to use this version. I'm looking for the URT for FTD's to see what it says. We're preparing to purchase new gear to replace our old 2110 VPN and 2130 FTD's. The idea was to repurpose the 2130's for the 2110's but maybe not now.

Deprecated Features - End of support: Firepower 2110, 2120, 2130, 2140.

You cannot run Version 7.6+ on the Firepower 2110, 2120, 2130, or 2140.

The 2100 series can run the latest 7.4.x release but not anything 7.6+.

FMC 7.6 can manage devices as far back as 7.1 (so no ASA running anything - FTD or Firepower service module).
