Hello!

Could you please guide how to get the bypass code to log into the firewall migration tool?
it says that: Verify it's you by entering a code from your IT help desk (What IT help desk meant?)
Is the tool can be used by cisco partner just by downloading and logging in via Cisco, no purchasing access needed?

Hi @ITG vendors CA, yes, it's a free tool to migrate ASA or the supported 3rd party firewall to Cisco FMC/FTD. Help us know at what stage you are getting that message (attaching screenshot would be helpful). Are you running the tool in an air gaped network?

Hi @gopaks , here is the stage directly after logging in via email, where getting the message to enter bypass code for Duo security. we didn't set this duo security before to get codes, so it's not clear who could provide this bypass code!

Your Duo account must have somehow been setup to use bypass code vs an MFA push. Try selecting "Other options" to get your Duo app to send you a push.

Hi @Marvin Rhoads , my organization didn't set up the duo app before therefore we have no bypass code to generate. the other options that it offers to validate identity by phone call. we set it up, but the call not being received on the phone that we indicated! Do you know to whom we should submit request to reset the MFA of Duo security?

@ITG vendors CA if you call Cisco TAC, the frontline representative should be able to direct your call to the team that handles the Duo authentication for access to Cisco tools.
