Cisco 1210CE Registration and Essentials License activation

Good morning everyone, sorry but it's my first experience. I purchased a Cisco 1210CE firewall, created a smart account and started the first firewall configuration. I generated the token and pasted it into the firewall and everything seemed to be fine. In the virtual account, in the licenses tab I now see an entry CSF1210CE Essentials License, Available to use 0, in use 1, alert insufficient Licenses. From what I understand Essentials license is a perpetual license provided with the purchase of the firewall that should be activated automatically during firewall registration. Where am I going wrong? Can anyone give me advice on how to do it? Thanks. Have a nice day

Your license to Smart Account linkage should have been done during the order fulfillment process by the partner or distributor that sold the product to you. If you purchased via a third party this can sometimes be overlooked. That you mentioned creating a Smart Account after purchase would lead me to believe a step was skipped in the ordering process.

Thanks for the reply. In fact, the smart account was requested by the seller when I ordered, an account that I promptly activated. I also purchased the two licenses for IPS and Malware Defense and these are visible and active in the smart account. Probably the seller forgot to enter the Essential license for the firewall. I will contact the seller. Can you please confirm that the Essential perpetual license is included in the cost of the firewall or do I have to purchase an additional license? Thanks again
