I am trying to lab FMC deployment with the 90 evaluation. I added two virtual Firepower's to FMC but the starter policy that you must create when adding them, fails to deploy with the message "The deployment failed because the deployment packages did not download to the device". I have looked through the internet and found nothing about it. I even started from zero again and still have the same error.

My policy was set to discovery so there should not be any problems.

Any help is welcome

I managed to fix the issue. I entered broth firewalls and enabled some interfaces that I needed for the lab, then I deployed the changes again and this time it was successful.

Sorry for the late replay. I don't remember exactly what I did, but I think i enabled interfaces that I was going to use for the topology. I don't remember if I configured any IP on them, but I enable them and then deployed the changes. It worked for me

Hi,

thx for feedback.

I have fixed issue in my lab by integrating FTD to FMC by its original IP address, not NAT ID (which I did to fully represent my live environment).
