admin passwords on FTDs are gone/wrong after update to 7.6.2

We noticed after we upgraded to 7.6.2 on both FTD 1140n firepower devices (HA) that our admin passwords do not work. So we cannot access the CLI of either FTD. Cisco TAC is looking at the TS files and says we may have to configure another external authentication source. Is there any way to reset these passwords through the FMC? Or maybe another way?

Firewalls are operating fine otherwise.

if this is local admin account, try external authentication admin account and try to reset ?

check any limitation of your password :
