When using the auto-create option, uncheck the interface group checkbox and keep only the security zone checkbox selected. This will create only a zone, not the interface groups.

Hello,

Every time I use FMT, it seams like the tool automatically create interface groups which I don't want to use.
I want to use interface zones and no interface groups. To remove the interface groups after a migration, I first need change all configuration that are referencing those interface groups and that can be time consuming.

Can this be avoided if I manually configure the interfaces on the FMC and the target FTD before running the migration tool?

Thanks

/Chess
