Hi,

Upon running "show run all

Upon running "show run all threat-detection" command, I do see the "threat-detection basic-threat" line on the console output but then why it doesn't show when I run "show run | i threat" command. The reason why I am asking this is because I am getting the output on another ASA (same model) upon running the "show run | i threat" command.

By the way.. Thank you for your help!

Hi,

If you have configured any changes in the default config then only it would show the config.

If not then it <G class="gr_ gr_92 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="92" data-gr-id="92"><G class="gr_ gr_94 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling multiReplace" id="94" data-gr-id="94">wont</G></G> show under show run | in threat.

So only manual changes by you would reflect under threat-detection.

Regards,

When you say default config

When you say default config means startup configuration?

Well, I did not make any changes to startup-configuration and still it shows on the console output of ASA # 2 on running "show run | i threat" command.

Oppositely, When I manually added the line "threat-detection basic-threat" command to the running configuration of ASA # 1, and then save the running config to startup config, still the ASA # 1 did not show "threat-detection basic-threat" line on running "show run | i threat" command.
