&lt;P&gt;ASA does not support any automated backup.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You have to either run an external script for this.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can also use smart call home feature for this as well:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately the end of sales 5520 devices do not support EEM. As Aditya noted, you can use the SCH feature if emailing the configuration is adequate for you or an external tool (like RANCID or Cattools) if you want them archived to a directory.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
