You're mixing the sfr

You're mixing the sfr (FirePOWER) module and ASA software commands. The "boot system" commands should not be used for the "asasfr..." images.

To show the version and status of the sfr (FirePOWER) module, you would use the "show module sfr detail" command.

The "system install" command is to install the full FirePOWER module software from the "asasfr-boot" prompt in the partially initialized module as you show.

Given that your bootstrap image was asasfr-5500x-boot-6.2.0-2.img, you should be using the system software "asasfr-sys-6.2.0-362.pkg" and then, from the GUI, upgrade it to patch 6.2.0.2.

Then use a checksum utility like the Microsoft cli one or a downloadable graphical one to confirm you have a good copy downloaded by checking the checksum of your local file copy.

note: user:pass you have to define as in your ftp server

also make sure if you running a filezilla server create username and password to match them with ftp://user:pass@x.x.x.x

also please be advised, with version 9.7.x you need to run 6.x

The references you are citing

The references you are citing about 6.0 and 5.3 etc. are for upgrades. You are not doing an inline upgrade but instead building a new image. When re-imaging, the boot image (img file) must match the version of the system image (img file).

I don't know how you got to the initial condition. It is probably best to start over with a module uninstall:

sw-module module sfr uninstall

...and then and follow the following procedure exactly while using the version 6.2.0 files:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/quick_start/reimage/asa-ftd-reimage.html#id_51507

I have several such re-images and never encountered any problem.
