Can we create multiple VRFs on ASA? If yes, then what would be the commands to do so?

Hi ankit.dhawan@aa.com,

Hi ankit.dhawan@aa.com,

The ASA does not support VRF but depending of the ASA you can use multiple context, you can take a look to the following documentation:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa90/configuration/guide/asa_90_cli_config/ha_contexts.html

Hope this info helps!!

Rate if helps you!!

-JP-

Thanks JP

Actually we have a pair of ASA-5585 in failover group. They are currently operating in single mode. As per your guidance we need to change them to milti mode from single mode for multi context. These firewall pair is in production.

What would be the best approach or guidelines to put them in multi mode with minimum risk to the network and current traffic through them?
