The back is the side where the power cables plug in (and the exhaust air blows out).

Firepower NGFW Airflow Direction

Data sheet and hardware installation guides don't show the airflow direction of the 4100 series NGFW's. Any know for sure the airflow directions?

Thanks!

Front to Back. It is documented in the Hardware install guide, although slightly hidden 🙂

Our FPR-1120 just arrived.

2 things are very disappointing:

1. The ventilator is max / yelling when appliance is switched off (power cord is connected of course)

2. Airflow if back 2 front ? Ciso documentation states: front 2 back.

Is the appliance defect? Or is it an error in the documenation?
