how have you dicovered these interfaces? through some sort of discovery thru snmp on you management platform, or are you browsing to the interfaces, using an snmp browser and the FXOS MIB?

Interface monitoring of Cisco FirePower 2130

I've setup a new FirePower 2130 and I want to monitor the interface usage of it.

I'm using Eth1/1-Eth1/4 of the device and they are configured and up

Interface:
Port Name Port Type Admin State Oper State State Reason
    -------------- ------------------ ----------- ---------------- ------------
    Ethernet1/1 Data Enabled Up Up
    Ethernet1/2 Data Enabled Up Up
    Ethernet1/3 Data Enabled Up Up
    Ethernet1/4 Data Enabled Up Up
Ethernet1/5 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/6 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/7 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/8 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/9 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/10 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/11 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/12 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/13 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/14 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/15 Data Enabled Link Down Down
Ethernet1/16 Data Enabled Link Down Down

I've also configured SNMP and it works fine, but when I poll for interfaces I only find the following:

lo
dummy0 (not connected)
Intel Corporation I211 Gigabit Network Connection - eth0
Intel Corporation Device 15ab - eth1 (not connected)
Intel Corporation Device 15ab - eth2 (not connected)
tap0
tap0.1
tap0.1000
management0

I can't really correlate these interfaces to the configured interfaces. lo, tap0, tap0.1 & tap0.1000 are all 10 Mbps interfaces. What are these monitoring?

What is eth0? Is that the sum of all the physical interfaces?

I've been trying to look through the Cisco documentation, but I can't find anything related to this.

How do I monitor the usage of the individual physical interfaces?

Hi Dennis

I discovered them using both SolarWinds and a snmpwalk. Both turns out with the same interfaces and speed
