Management Interface Context allocation

Quick question.

The management interface in an ASA should be kept in the system context or should it be allocated to the admin context?

It seems in the system context almost nothing can be configured on it, so I suspected it should be in the admin context.

You can assign it to any context. Since the interface is primarily used for Management, I would recommend assigning it to the admin context. This allows you to use the Management interface for management purposes (ssh/https) and switch to different contexts from the admin context.
