Cisco ASA - Syslog. Forward all logs to syslog server

Hello all,

Good day. I'm looking for a way to forward all logs (regardless type of messages generated) to our syslog servers. How to do it via ASDM ?

Thanks very much.

Hi Alex,

Hi Alex,

Please check the screenshot attached.

You need <G class="gr_ gr_50 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Punctuation replaceWithoutSep" id="50" data-gr-id="50">to first of all</G> enable logging on the ASDM.

Then under <G class="gr_ gr_58 gr-alert gr_spell gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="58" data-gr-id="58">syslog</G> server select the <G class="gr_ gr_105 gr-alert gr_spell gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="105" data-gr-id="105">syslog</G> server you need to send the logs to.

Make sure the server is reachable from the ASA.

Equivalent ASA CLI config:

logging enable

logging trap debugging

logging host inside <server ip>

Regards,

Aditya
