ASA 5510 Running Config

Hi,

I had an issue in which the running config on my Cisco ASA 5510 suddenly became blank as if it has been restored to the default configuration however I havent made any changes to it recently.

When I checked the saved config all of my settings were there so I copied it over to the running config however a few hours later the same issue occured.

Any ideas on what might have caused this or how to permantly fix it would be great.

Thanks

Alex

Hi,

When you do a write memory do you see any error message or <G class="gr_ gr_66 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Punctuation multiReplace" id="66" data-gr-id="66">log.</G>

Flash health seems fine apart from that I am not sure what else can lead to this.

<G class="gr_ gr_211 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Punctuation multiReplace" id="211" data-gr-id="211">Also</G> check logs at the time of the issue and check if you find anything weird.

Regards,
