4120 firepower

Hello, we are currently installing the cisco firepower 4120s. There are some limitations so we are using one 4120 for a firewall ASA and one 4120 for an IPS. but after a later OS release we will combine the firewalling and IPS into one appliance.

They shipped with the firepower OS on them. Does anyone know the process to just use the 4120 as an ASA firewall? any documents on the setup etc?

Not sure if I install IOS on the appliance or if I deploy like an ASAv inside the 4120 appliance using the firepower OS.

Any info would be great.

No - its not like an ASAv.

To change the image type on a FirePOWER 4100 series, you need to work from the FXOS chassis manager.
