      <title>Mapping of private server IP to public IP given in pool</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I already have the public &lt;GS id="a4201f7e-cd71-4226-9ef2-32a511b08815" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="d2475e01-4317-4571-ac66-1fc07a67ed39" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;ip&lt;/GS&gt;&amp;nbsp;of A.B.C.D. The internet is working fine from that one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now, the client has given me other&amp;nbsp;Public &lt;GS id="da1ade43-a346-476a-a35e-513bfdc5116e" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="337b99fb-ac1c-4841-b5bd-5d4fd7ed4887" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;ip&lt;/GS&gt;&amp;nbsp;pool of x.x.x.x/29 and have asked me to map the IP in the pool to the respective servers in the private IP.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For &lt;GS id="b7ee8a5c-68cf-4910-ba0c-d2effd8bb1ae" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="c6fb5052-6a47-467e-a3e6-16952472445b" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;eg&lt;/GS&gt;:&amp;nbsp;10.10.1.2 has the MIs server and they want me to map this private IP to the &lt;GS id="62688c59-830f-4d7e-9d0f-ec087ab148d4" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="c6fb5052-6a47-467e-a3e6-16952472445b" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;ip&lt;/GS&gt;&amp;nbsp;in the pool &lt;GS id="2eb1a4a3-d82c-4efd-bb11-4637044f258a" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="c6fb5052-6a47-467e-a3e6-16952472445b" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;to&amp;nbsp;let&lt;/GS&gt; us say 202.203.204.205 and similarly,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;10.10.1.3 &lt;GS id="e02f130c-ec07-48ca-ac02-bde481ea33ee" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="650086c0-7451-4484-a702-2f0c4f27876c" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;which&lt;/GS&gt; is web server should be mapped to the IP in the pool &lt;GS id="cc66df4d-5140-4907-9fc9-2151f3121e12" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="650086c0-7451-4484-a702-2f0c4f27876c" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;eg&lt;/GS&gt;:&amp;nbsp;202.203.204.206 and so on.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now, How do &lt;GS id="f4db57f1-4b7e-48e8-b952-5e94cff5c265" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="3565957f-6c49-424b-8101-6a2c5ed8e2b2" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;i&lt;/GS&gt; do it?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have 6 interfaces on ASA. 0/0 has the public &lt;GS id="599666de-0d00-4fea-8765-695fc062dbb1" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="5a9ba48b-845a-4a61-a08f-1185125c8646" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;ip&lt;/GS&gt;&amp;nbsp;and 0/5 has the pool &lt;GS id="b408a363-4bbb-49e3-8257-03079ab024fe" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="5a9ba48b-845a-4a61-a08f-1185125c8646" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;ip&lt;/GS&gt;. Is it wise to put the pool &lt;GS id="0c26c28c-72a2-4a32-8709-dd6c8da6eb23" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="c51ee2e8-c377-41d1-937f-dedb3bbd02df" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;ip&lt;/GS&gt;&amp;nbsp;in one of the &lt;GS id="5b8322b4-1fcf-4619-a87b-dc97c170473a" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="c51ee2e8-c377-41d1-937f-dedb3bbd02df" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark"&gt;interface&lt;/GS&gt;? Else, what can be done?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can achieve your requirement but creating an auto nat to do static nat.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Create object network for the public ip pool lets say test&amp;nbsp; and configuration will be something like :&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;object network&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;host 10.10.1.3&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;nat (inside,outside) static test&amp;nbsp; service tcp 80 8080&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Rate if it helps.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can keep the pool on the interface as well and the config suggested by me should work&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;well in that case also.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Just check whether you get any translate hits on the nat created.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
