Here is the doc that will give you insight for how to take packet captures:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/security/asa-5500-x-series-next-generation-firewalls/118097-configure-asa-00.html

If you wish to capture packets on ASA for internet traffic <G class="gr_ gr_456 gr-alert gr_gramm undefined Grammar multiReplace" id="456" data-gr-id="456">for</G> any specific source, the capture will look like
captures <G class="gr_ gr_229 gr-alert gr_spell undefined ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="229" data-gr-id="229">capi</G> interface inside match <G class="gr_ gr_246 gr-alert gr_spell undefined ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="246" data-gr-id="246">ip</G> host x.x.x.x any

If you wish to see if the internet traffic is getting dropped for any particular host, then you can get the following captures:

cap asp type asp-drop all

show cap asp | in x.x.x.x

where x.x.x.x is the particular source IP.

<G class="gr_ gr_883 gr-alert gr_gramm undefined Punctuation replaceWithoutSep" id="883" data-gr-id="883">NOTE:If</G> you are capturing the traffic for many users destined to all the IPs on <G class="gr_ gr_882 gr-alert gr_gramm undefined Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep" id="882" data-gr-id="882">internet</G>, it may degrade the performance of the ASA. You can use circular buffer option as well to captures the packets.

Moreover, if the issue is pertaining to bandwidth getting full.
Check the output of the following commands to see the status of the resources:

show resource usage
<G class="gr_ gr_700 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_disable_anim_appear undefined Grammar multiReplace" id="700" data-gr-id="700">show</G> <G class="gr_ gr_698 gr-alert gr_spell gr_disable_anim_appear undefined ContextualSpelling" id="698" data-gr-id="698">mem</G>
show <G class="gr_ gr_697 gr-alert gr_spell gr_disable_anim_appear undefined ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="697" data-gr-id="697">cpu</G>
show processes <G class="gr_ gr_717 gr-alert gr_spell gr_disable_anim_appear undefined ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" id="717" data-gr-id="717">cpu</G>-usage non-zero sorted

Look out for interface errors as well as this issue might be pertaining to bursty traffic as well.
