Hi,

It means we can create prod and test two contexts and still have admin and system context?

My understanding were that admin it self is a context and we can use for test and we will only be able to create one context for prod

Please clarify?

Regards,

context on ASA

Hi,

We have Cisco 5545-X ASA with base license which support two security context. I would like to know does these two context

are along side with default context ( admin and system ) or you can only create only one context.

Our requirments are two context ( Prod and Test ) alongside with admin and system or do we need to purchase extra license?

Regards,

"System" is not a context, it

"System" is not really a context, it's the management of the "box" where you define the contexts and manage the resources for the contexts.

With the base license you get two general contexts and in addition the admin context to manage everything.
