ASA Password

Hi,

I have converted my Cisco ASA 5545x version 9.1(2) from single mode to multi mode context.

I have created 2nd username B and password in admin context as below, but some how my only new username A and password works and other one keep saying accesses denied.

userename A password xxx encrypted privilege 15

userename B password xxx encrypted privilege 15

1-Is there only one username password supported in ASA ?

2-Is only username password works which ever is first in config ( in this case A is before B) ?

Hi,

Both the passwords should work. It doesn't choose like 1st or 2nd.

If you remove A, does B works? and if you add A again then which one works?

Could you please remove both and then try adding them.

Hi Akshay,

We manage firewall remotely, so I can not remove A unless B works.
