If you have a Cisco device you should be able to register for smartnet. Though this is a paid service and needs to be done though your local Cisco partner company.

I would naturally expect there must be a fee but by partner I suppose you mean where I purchased it?

Hi Marius,

i contacted the suppliers (Canada Computers), they don't offer that. The guy offers me instead a 3 year hardware replacement policy which I already have!! Why is it so hard to get it directly from Cisco?
