Hi,

I have many Cisco ASA 5510 (9.1(6)10) at different places and they have all rebooted one hour ago.

The same issue occurred on July 8, 2015

Is there someone else who was affected ?

Best regards,

Valentin

Do the syslogs show anything prior to the reboot? "show crashinfo" may be helpful in finding the reason. Are they all connected to the same power source?

hi,

this occurrence is very unusual.

this kind of problem usually leads to an image upgrade.

i suggest raise a TAC case first.

Hi,

Hi,

1. checking the power source 1 [ since you have one power input on the firewall ]

put the fail-over on the 2nd input if you have.

also note that i faced a reboot on cisco 2921 ISR when the power was not stable and the device has a feature to reboot itself if that happened not sure if ASA has the same feature.

2. check your syslogs and your NMS if you have some alerts regarding performance

3. check your software image if it is affected with the vulnerability that Cisco announced reccently

HTH

Samer.
