ASA Hardware Upgrade

Our Company is going to need to upgrade our 5540 ASA firewall soon because we are going to move it to a DR Site instead of buying a new one for the DR site to only have to replace it in 3 years. What ASA compares to the 5540 for specs? ASA needs to have anyconnect, site-to-site vpn access and support simular connection requirments. Any help would be fantastic.

The X-Generation is much more

The X-Generation is much more powerfull then the legacy devices. Perhaps the specs of the 5525-X also meet your needs. You could save a lot of bucks with that. But if you want to extend the features to FirePOWER, the 5545-X is really the ASA to use because of the higher performance needed for FirePOWER..
