Firesight VMware file

Dear All,

has any one tried to install firesight vmware file with (.ovf) extension not (.vmdk) extension and worked properly?!!

because i installed (.ovf) file but i cannot perform any network discovery or monitoring users even if Firesight license is installed successfully and i do not know the error cause, is that from .ovf file or bad license ?!!!

You haven't given enough information to answer your question.

Do you have an operating FireSIGHT Management Center?

If so, can you share the licensing status page?

Do you have a network discovery policy?

If so, is it deployed to your appliances or FirePOWER modules?

thank you marvin for your reply, it is alright i solved the problem.

the cause of the problem is that there was no time syncronization between FireSIGHT Management Center and sfr module so the DC cannot view any events.
