line-height:15.0pt"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"&gt;Hello everyone,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt; line-height: 15pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"&gt;Need some help launching ASDM on Win7, Win8 computers, having problems with the Java not loading for each ASA we have.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt; line-height: 15pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"&gt;We have IOS version 8.4/5 ASDM 711 on most and IOS version 9 ASDM 721 on others&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt; line-height: 15pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"&gt;When trying to access the ASDM logon page from either IE or Crome we get install ASDM launcher or run wizard, not seeing run the ASDM&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt; line-height: 15pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt; line-height: 15pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"&gt;What's required to make this work on Windows computers/servers?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin: 0in 0in 7.5pt; line-height: 15pt;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"&gt;Thank you&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For IE, you need to enable the compatibility mode to run ASDM.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other things that might help:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Add the ASA IP to the site-list under "Security" in the Java-options&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Import the ASA certificate into Java if you use an untrusted certificate&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Java really should be up to date because of the security-problems in older versions. There are some requirements for running ASDM:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asdm/7_4/release/notes/rn74.html#83176"&gt;http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asdm/7_4/release/notes/rn74.html#83176&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Still, I would use Java 8 and try to keep the ASDM also up-to-date. The ASDM can be upgraded without upgrading the base-OS of the ASA.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
