topic Cisco ASA versions in Network Security

Does anyone happen to know where to find information regarding the different hardware (not software) versions for the ASA? Specifically, I currently have an ASA 5505 hardware version 05. What's the difference between that and an ASA 5505 version 09? Or 12?

# sho inventory
Name: "Chassis", DESCR: "ASA 5505 Adaptive Security Appliance"
PID: ASA5505 , VID: V05

I don't think that this is

I don't think that this is information that is publicly available. But it's quite common in the industry to optimize a product after the first hardware design, very often just to reduce cost in the production-process.
