    <description>&lt;P&gt;"static" is the command for static translations that can be used for outside-&amp;gt;inside traffic. For that the global is not needed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A global always corresponds to a "nat" statement for dynamic outgoing connections. I see &lt;GS class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="b947c7a9-ceb2-4d7d-8f8c-73d77ca0161d" id="47d0d2e5-db2a-4cfa-a851-e30681b388e8"&gt;hitcnt&lt;/GS&gt;&amp;nbsp;on the &lt;GS class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="b947c7a9-ceb2-4d7d-8f8c-73d77ca0161d" id="6c4af1e3-789d-4541-a698-5c5f8d750f2a"&gt;acl&lt;/GS&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My question will be do I still need the global (outside) configuration?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
