ASA/ASDM Software Update

Trying to use the update feature in ASDM for a ASA 5525 failover pair and neither will connect to Cisco for new software. Has this feature been deprecated and no longer works?

The feature should work.

Do you have a web proxy in your environment? Are you getting a cisco.com authentication prompt?

Yes, I checked the web filter and added an exception. I can ping cisco.com from the cli on the firewalls.

It would be the client on which you are running ASDM contacting cisco.com - not the firewall itself.

I'd check the proxy logs for blocked attempts.

Bypassed it for the workstation and no go. Never even asks for prompt from Cisco.
