    <description>&lt;P&gt;Most use case the VPN comes from outside network and it should be a public IP address.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;in your case Do you have a Public IP address configured inside interface? and reachable to the internet&amp;nbsp; for VPN?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Connecting to inside is not a good approach security point of view.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The VPN is independent of the interface and is configured the same way as on the outside. You just apply your ike and crypto map to the inside interface.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;And you know that the ASA 5510 didn't get security updates for a very long time? This device should not connect to any network any more.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
