Hi All,

I am looking for some insights here... Our last outbound VA has identified some vulnerabilities in our FW. A quick research on the cisco web site has suggested to upgrade from 9.1 to 9.2 to fix the flaw.

I have downloaded the code, I have read the release note(well there isn't much in release note anyway).

But still want a be extra careful though!

HAS anyone here running 9.2.2(4)? is it stable?

And the most important thing for me here, IS ANY CONFIGURATION IS REQUIRED in the actual config file after the upgrade?

Thanks,

Eddy

Hi GrandVagabond ,

Normally on minor upgrades there are not configuration changes , you can go safely from 9.1 to 9.2 .

But as best practice do the upgrade in maintenance window and have a back up of the configuration.

As per this is a failover structure you must upgrade both boxes.

Hope this helps

Rate helpful post.

- Randy-
