Hi,

We connect to ASA 5510 using PUTTY ssh connection. From ASA privilege mode we take access of IPS sensor module using session 1.

We logged all session outputs on PUTTY to file and gave #show tech on sensor prompt.

After a while PUTTY hangs and displays "FATAL ERROR" with dialog box "no valid incoming Packet Found".

Does anyone know if it is PUTTY /SSH /ASA or the IPS Sensor causing this.

What's workaround to get show tech to some external file using ssh to sensor.

Regards,
Gurjit Singh
Network Engineer
Spooster IT Services
