PIX 525 / big issue? help please

I've configured 2 pixes, (active / standby) and worked fine for one day then lost one of them,

I spent about 8 hours to fix the issue without luck, can I run only one of them? as I have to get the network running within 24 hours (we have a conference on Friday), if yes, how should I do it? do I need to disconnect the failover link and disable the failover? could anyone help please and let me know how to do it?

I believe, I have to run only one of them (at the moment) because the network works ok for 20-30 mins and the stops and works again after 2-3 mins.
