ASA 5505 factory default

One of my clients has an ASA 5505 which was originally purchased with a base license and upgrades to a Security license. We need to wipe the thing clean and start over. My questions:

1. If we restore the "factory-default" will the device revert to the base configuration or will it maintain the Security Plus configuration.

2. If it reverts to the base configuration how might I preserve the security plus information prior to restoring the factory defaults.

Everything will get to the default mode

2. If it reverts to the base configuration how might I preserve the security plus information prior to restoring the factory defaults.

If you are talking about loosing the security plus features,just copy the activation key before doing the factory-default reset with the command:

show activation-key detail

Special note:Everything will be removed from the configuration file, make sure you setup a boot file before rebooting the box.
