hi,

just two short questions:

1) does the 5512x include vpn licenses with the main unit or do you have to order a vpn license with it?

2) does the 5512x always include the secplus feature set? or is there a base license as well?

1. The 5512-X includes site-site VPN capability in the base license, as do all the ASA models. For remote access clients, it similarly includes two AnyConnect Premium client licenses. If you want more, you must purchase either an AnyConnect Essentials license or additonal AnyConenct Premium licenses (depending on what remote access features you want to use).

2. There is a base license and a security plus license option for the 5512-X. See the details of what changes between the two here.
