In VTPv3 you need to create the primary VTP server in order to create/delete/modify an VLAN.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Benefits:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can now synchronize RSPAN VLAN, Private VLAN and MST.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;if the VTP Setup transparent, it does not matter v1 or v2 or v3 ? no effects in the VTP Domain.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;unless you want to VTP Server and Clients in the Network.&lt;/P&gt;
