      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello Samsom,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I cant ping the outside interface from my inside host. &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Expected behavior, is well documented that you cannot ping a far-end interface, that means that if you are on a PC on the inside interface you can ping the inside interface IP address but not the ASA outside interface IP address.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You should be able to ping any other device on the outside interface except the ASA outside IP address.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Add this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;fixup protocol ICMP&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and then try to ping 4.2.2.2 from that inside host.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also check this my friend (A video that I made on my website)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.laguiadelnetworking.com/video-1-basic-setup-of-an-asa/"&gt;http://www.laguiadelnetworking.com/video-1-basic-setup-of-an-asa/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Remember to subscribe to my website and rate all of my comments &lt;SPAN __jive_emoticon_name="grin" __jive_macro_name="emoticon" class="jive_macro jive_emote" src="https://community.cisco.com/4.5.4/images/emoticons/grin.gif"&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
