I am jsut starting to get my CCNA Security cert. How important/helpful would it be to gave an ASA 5505 in my lab? How about a PIX505?

OR, can I do everything on a 1841 router with the firewall version of the IOS?

Hello Michael,

It would be awesome if you get one as this will help you with not just the CCNA security fundamentals but also on all of the CCNP Security Track.

If you have the money go for it.

Note: Do not go for the PIX, you will be waisting your money as no certification uses that now days
