    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Everyone,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ASA&amp;nbsp; have two context groups say admin and and x.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Its interface gi0/2&amp;nbsp; has 6 subinterfaces&amp;nbsp; from 1 to 6.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3 subinterfaces ----0/2.1 to 3 are in admin and last 3 are in context x.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when i went to system context&amp;nbsp; it does not show where interface gi0/2 belongs to it only shows up up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;how can i find which context group physical interface gi0/2 belongs?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mahesh&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Mahesh,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As you said, the interface GigabitEthernet0/2 is divided into subinterfaces. This means its a Trunk interface. The ASA has a Trunk with some other device connected to it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So the physical interface (Trunk) itself doesnt belong to any context. Its subinterfaces however belong to the contexts as you mentioned.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Jouni&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If a physical interface has subinterfaces then its considered a Trunk interface&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For example&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;interface GigabitEthernet0/1&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;interface GigabitEthernet0/1.100&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt; description LAN&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt; vlan 100&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I guess in the System Contex you should see same type of configurations for the GigabitEthernet0/2 interface and subinterface configurations?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Jouni&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
